The Black Widow

The Black Widow

Oh the tangled web she weaves
Untruths abound,
Lies she may even believe.

Amid the muddy vortex of her mind,
Delusions reign,
Reason left behind.

Heinous accusations spill forth with ease,
For these she should be on her knees.

Heavenly Father, guide her path,
Release her from bitterness, hate and wrath.

If it be Your will, breathe life into her blackened heart,
Remove the vengeful poison dart.

Searching for justice to right imagined wrongs,
She's sealing her fate to be impaled by her own thorns.

It is to this end that I feel pity and sorrow,
Delusions of the self righteous I feel, will leave her forsaken tomorrow.

Pssst! If you love me, you might love my stupid sister more. Go visit her at Jill's Believe it or Not, and tell her I sent you!

That's a beautiful poem. You've written a heck of a story and now a beautiful poem, you're funny, what can't you do? But now I am wondering from whose life it was spawned.

  • Gucci Mama

That was incredible! You're so talented! I love how you write from life. ;)

Also, I am so in love with your disclaimer I can hardly contain myself. Hilarious!

  • Jill

    I am loving this...
Did you know the venom that the black widow injects is enough to kill a poor little critter within 5 minutes. So sad..... I hate those black widows... They are so cool to look at but they are hiding an evil force within.

  • squawmama

You are really great at this, Tiney. I think you have a real talent, girl....
I also just read J's poem...
FOR HIS FAMILY....and that is a deep affirmation (i know that isn't spelled right) of HIS LOVE FOR YOU AND THE GIRLS. At least, it is to ME!!
Also, i am so excited to learn that you are thinking of enrolling in an online school. This, as you said, will open up a whole new world to you. You can work from home, where you feel safe and secure...and I am just real excited about it. Please let us know when you start....(no, not when you start your monthly...when you start SCHOOL, silly)
    love you,

    Hmmmm, thought provoking.
The untruths she tries to weave.
sometimes I think WE try to believe untruths.......because facing the TRUTH is like a slap in the face
    that is hard
believing what we really KNOW our faults and failing to be

    easier to weave that web

  • Poetic Shutterbug
