I have an affliction. It’s called I –cannot –post –a –picture- without –describing- it syndrome. So because of this I can’t legally because Dixie likes unbreakable rules too much and already removed my post from Mr. Linky because I broke said rules do Wordless Wednesday. So instead, I'm going with a meme that's much more my speed. Angie’s 7 Clown Circus meme, Wordful Wednesday! This is a good thing. Now I can flap my gums to my heart’s content, and meet a new bloggin’ buddy!
Hi Angie! Tiney here!
I went with "blooming" because that was the prompt for WW over at Dixie's. I've had to rewrite a bunch of this post, but that's okay, I still likey my flowers. Hope you do too!
This plant is a perennial and is called Lily of the Nile. Mine don’t seem to be blooming as “full” as they should. Me thinks I should take a page out of Tootsie’s notebook and fertilize!
Next is the oh-so-common, but pretty nonetheless, day lily. Of course I took these pictures as dusk was coming so the flowers are starting their nightly snooze.
This next flower is Lantana, and seems to be Mikayla’s new favorite flower. I just bought four of these yesterday and potted them today. I can’t remember the name of this color combo. I think it’s mango sunrise or some such. Gorgeous, yes?
So that’s what I’ve got blooming. I do have to share one more non-blooming picture with you.
These two cuties were hanging out in my screen room a few weeks ago. I wish I could tell you they were just spooning, but I’m pretty sure they were doing it.
It must have been quite a coupling because I had the camera about 3” from them and they barely blinked their beady little eyes at me.
Make sure you visit Angie to see who else is posting Wordful today!
Pssst! If you love me, you might love my sister more. Go visit her at Jill's Believe it or Not, and tell her I sent you!
pretty flowers... but... you said it yourself... it ain't wordless...
sorry...
It's only Tuesday! But the flowers are all beautiful! The lizards are cute... But this could be considered internet porn.
You little rule breaker you! Glad you found someone that will let you flap your jaw! lol
Tiney... only YOU would post lizard porn!!
The flowers are so pretty, but geesch, couldn't you give them some privacy! ☺ Diane
OMG! You could have filmed a porn movie and called it "Behind the Screen Door". hahahaha...I crack my OWN damn self up! Seriously, I'm sitting here giggling here at 10:30 pm and when I told Roy what I said, he was like "oh, cute" and went back to watching the news! He just doesn't get my sense of humor! Behind the SCREEN door...instead of GREEN door! Get it? hahahaahahaa
Alright, maybe I'm just delirious. I am pretty tired.
Goodnight Tiney~
♥,Lilly
Oh my goodness! My eyes! My innocent virgin eyes!
I could never post pictures without an explanation either. I guess I talk too much.
Great pictures of the flowers. The bright orange color of the lily is really intense. I like the lantana too. You probably have the perfect weather in Florida to grow any flowers, I bet.
Nice close up of the lizards doing the wild thing. lol
I'm speechless! LOL!
Your flowers are so pretty!!!
Buffie
Roflmao, you little rule breaker! I think we need to send your crush over to your house to spank you!
Well here I was thinking that this was a pretty post about beautiful flowers, and then comes the lizards getting their freak on! You do not ever fail to make me smile! lol
Kady
I would have a hard enough time with lizards let alone ones displaying their sexual exploits in front of me!
I love your gorgeous flowers, especially the Lantana. I've never seen one before. Is it a indigenous plant?
Sorry about your excommunication from Wordless Wednesday. Some words were not meant to be sequestered.
Since comments were closed to the *anti denti* post...I will leave my sympathies here....
I waited 25 years to get my impacted wisdom tooth pulled. For the same reasons you've put it off.
I would have been poppin the klonopin like Pez if I had some when I finally went to get my wisdom tooth pulled. But it actually wasn't bad at all (speaking with anxiety disorder myself). The extraction took just a few minutes. My mistake was not taking the pain killers during my recovery. I finally wised up when the pain shot through my cerebral cortex. That's when I invited the codeine with open arms! Pain bad... drugs good. The wisdom tooth mantra.
Sweet wishes,
Sara
You go right ahead and cry J, it really makes you feel good! I hope Alexa is doing better!
So, you have a green thumb do ya? All your flowers look beautiful and I especially love the lantana, I've had that color before and it's so pretty! Have a good day sweetie, (cry in the shower, its the best place to really let it all out!) xoxo
Welcome to the community of Wordful Wednesay-ers! Love the pictures. In South Africa the Lantana is a banned intruder plant.
Gorgeous flowers...you'd better get ready for a huge infestation of lizards!:) Happy WW!
I wouldn't expect anything less from you..... WORDS AND PORN. wooooohooooooo
Morning girl...I went to Jill's...thanks for letting me know...That just breaks my heart...but I know Jill is strong and I know God answers prayers.
Beautiful flowers girl...I love day lilies and lantana!!!!
That red and cream toile curtain will be going in the other bedroom I think..or it may be going in the study! lol lol I just loved it...it is a deep blackish red with yellowish design and the sheers are creamy with the reddish design and the valance is red with the yellowish design with a red striped ruffle and a crochet doily ruffle...all my favorites in one thing! lol lol
Take care sweetie and thanks again for letting me know about Jill and the girls....I am so far behind on blog visiting..just never enough time lately and this Friday is when I am suppose to meet Sherry from Edie Marie's Attic! Yahoo! We're meeting at the Cracker Barrel! lol ~♥~
That's the coolest picture of the "coupling", and your flower shots are wonderful too. I'm so glad you played along!
Hello Justine, your lilies are beautiful and I also love the lantana, such pretty olours. I bet those loved-up lizards had wished they had "got a room" now hehe.

Oh those lizards are funny! I have pictures of lizards outside our window just like that but I wasn't sure if I should post them. Your flowers are so pretty and I know the lantanas will get so big and pretty and they come back every single year too....Christine
Day lillies (or however you spell that) are my favorite...I have some Little Red Wine Cup ones in my front yard. (Ok, how gay was this comment!?)

Hehehe to the couple on the screen door!
Monica
Justine, your photography is just beautiful! Have you considered entering the last one to the Discovery Channel?!? Hehe.
Humping lizards...if that doesn't say "SPRING" I don't know what does! I'm sorry it's been so long since I visited. My mother and daughter flew in to see me on a surprise visit. We were together all week and I haven't been on the computer in the last 7 days. I went over to Jill's to leave a message. I'm so so sorry you are all going through this with poor sweet Alexa. It must be so blasted scary for everyone. I'll be keeping you all in my prayers. And hopefully I will have time to keep up with the whats going on. Take care woman...I love you guys!!
Blogger ate my comment!! Ah well, great flowers girlie, after seeing your lantanas I went looking for some yesterday, i got some and they are very similar in coloring to yours but they are very tiny!! I hope the flowers get bigger like yours, from what I've seen of your garden it's wonderful and well maintained, show us more!
Those flowers are lovely!
Only on your blog can a person find two frogs doing it! lol Gorgeous flowers!
arne't day lillies the best? i have them all over my yard and they are so low maintenance. i have purple lantana as well.
Gorgeous flowers. A little concerned here about your voyeurism with the reptiles. ;)
