My friend, Raquel has tagged me to share a few things about myself that many of you may not know. So here goes. This should be a nice, quick post for you to read. And no hunting down graphics for me!
1 I love all critters, big and small. Whether they're furry, scaly, slimy, feathered or nekkid, I l love them. My oldest and dearest friend, Sinead, says that I exude something spiritual to the universe that keeps the critters coming my way. LOL! I don't think I'm doing any woo woo to get a raccoon in my yard, but if that theory makes Nade happy, so be it. And although I love critters, I hate bugs. All except a dragonfly. Those I love. I'm not afraid of bugs at all, just absolutely hate them.
2 After I got married, my "crazy aunt Mary Ellen" (that's how she's referred to in the family) offered to keep my wedding gown at her house for safe keeping until I was ready to have it sealed up. Well, I never did get it back because her equally crazy Doberman, Buddy, peed all over it!
3 Once me and Jill got into such a bad fight (I'd say I was probably 17, her 11) that we somehow wound up in the bathroom, and I was bashing her head on the tiles and whopped her over the head over and over again with a can of Aquanet. She still won't let me live that one down.
4 I have been friends with Sinead since she was 3 and I was four and she walked up to me on my lawn, covered in spaghetti sauce and freckles. We haven't lived in the same state in about 13 years, haven't physically seen each other in at least 6 years, but 34 years later are still the closest of friends. Gosh, that really ages me, doesn't it?
5 I've only had two real boyfriends.. ya know, serious-like. First one was Matt, and that was from ages 14-16, then soon after met Jimmy, and that was that. Jimmy and I have been together 22 years now. Holy moley!
6 I have only been drunk three times in my life, and none of those times was I ever falling-down drunk. I've had nothing alcoholic in approximately two years, and that was a glass of wine with dinner. Why oh why, do you ask? Because I'm hypoglycemic and alcohol turns into sugar.
7 Last but not least bit of useless Justine information. Last summer, me, Jill, and Mom went and got tattooed together. It was Mom's 3rd tattoo and she got a dolphin on her ankle. I believe it was also Jill's 3rd tattoo, and she got a lizard on her foot. It was my 4th, and I got the huge red-eyed tree frog on the front of my shin. Talk about a bonding experience!!!!!
Until next time, Justine :o )

So Justine you think I should have just assumed my 18-month-old daughter is fine wherever she was?
I prefer to not take chances.
You're a nut. Yes, she did have chubby little legs... but a child can go far in a minute. Okay, maybe not that far but she could have rolled down the driveway! LOL!
That's cool that you're still friends after all these years...
I still can't believe your mom got a tat. I went to FL with my daughter and Bob before we got engaged and got a henna tat. My mom wouldn't speak to me for weeks thinking it was real. My daughter still laughs about that. I'll talke to you in about a week...Julie
Teehee you did it!! Youre such a good sport!
Generally, I would prefer all creatures to keep their distance, and I dont have my wedding dress either, the designer 'borrowed it' for a fashion show and never returned it!
Hey we should have a 'show your wedding pic day'
Raquel
Hi Justine, Well your Froggy Bloggy is getting better everyday.
I think you've found your calling.
Have a great evening. Vicki
No Becky, I wouldn't expect you to just wait there for Peyton to come back. I'm just saying you FREAKED right away instead of looking calmly first. :o )~~~
Justine :o )
Btw... I changed "her" to "she"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're so funny Justine... she wasn't in the yard and she wasn't in the garage... we never expected her to be in the house!
I was pregnant and very emotional!!! LMAO!
Did you read Jessica's comment about it. She was there that day...
aquanet? OMG!!!! that is almost as bad as the sudden beauty my grandmother uses! lol...as for the tattoo...you are brave. I am not good about needles of any kind. I have a broken tooth that I am scared to get fixed because of the needle
Well, I think I knew most of that about you. You have to stop talking to me so much! LOL But I must admit, I just learned the AquaNet tidbit yesterday.
I like Kat Von De 's art> I think she is a great tat artist. I just don't like pain that well, but I can admire the work. Kathy
Ok Justine you silly girl...when you talked about all the old shows you used to watch I asked have you ever seen HR pufnstuf? It's an old show I watched as a kid but I think it was Canadian so you may not have seen it before! You can see about it on Youtube! There was a lot of hype years later about what the title meant and what the show was actually about hence the name and the crazy things that appeared on it! 'Of course as a kid you don't know any different but plenty of parents were outraged (after the fact) Hope this makes more sense! French;)
Ah, Aquanet ... a staple for teenage girls in the '80s. Gotta love it (unless you're Jill, apparently!).
Oh my gosh, Edith is screeching into my ear about the old La Salle! I want to go back to the Sesame Street music mix.
Christine
Hey Justine, just dropping in to say hello! I love your Frog Blog!!! Donna (Deembee)
(I'm copying my reply from my post into your post.)
Hey Justine. I always enjoy your candor.
I have no idea why it came across that way... but that's how it really was. I didn't leave anything out. I didn't even think it sounded intense until I read some of the comments and reread it.
Like I said for all I know it could have been just me with feelings and he thought of me like nothing more than a daughter!
I also think it was just a crush. Maybe an intense one but still a crush. I have no idea!
Like I wrote at the beginning... you be the judge. I told it like it was. Nothing was ever "spoken" between us about "us" besides what I wrote.
As for the girls, I may not have a choice. I am having lunch with him during the work week and my husband works. I don't see him taking the day off just for me to go to lunch.
But since Gary works in the city maybe he can meet me there and take them for a while.
I was always planning on bringing them with me I just didn't think I had to say it. Then I added it after a few people suggested I didn't go alone. LOL!
Like I said, he never DID anything or told me anything outright to make me say he "liked" me. But our history together obviously seems it from what I wrote, now that I read it. Whatever, I really can't explain it.
But I thank everyone for all the advice!
Hi Justine
Just saying hi and post something new!! lazy girl!
Brenda, I don't have any of my baby pics. My parents have everything at their house in albums. Even if I got my hands on a pic, our upstairs computer died and I can't scan now. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Justine :o )
Hey, I just wanted to thank you for having a Bug-Free blog for a few days! ; )
We really should go for a tatoo reunion party! That was an experience I will never forget! Just having the owner with 100 million rings and tat's all over her body walking around with Gianna in her arms who will not go to anyone, but she let her hold her who to most kids would have been a monster. Most daughters would not be able to say they shared an experience with their mom like that one.
