Tomorrow (Wednesday) morning we're leaving for a 2-night stay in Savannah, GA, where I hope to bump into a ghost or two and possibly hang with Paula Deen. Hmmm... wonder what my chances of either one are?
Anyway, this is where I'll be. It's not grand, but it is free, thanks to all the traveling Jimmy does!

You will have a great time there! We went last year...walked all the little "squares" and toured some beautiful homes. YOu can take a ghost tour...They have one where you ride around in an old hearse that has the top cut off so its open...you will see them, they are everywhere. We didnt get to see Paula Deen or eat her food...line was too long for the Lady and sons restaurant. Make reservations if you're goin...they have a web site with all the instructions. Have fun!

Have some fun...and I hope you see some ghosts. I have heard that if you walk down a major street down there naked the ghosts come out of the wood work. It's worth a try :)

Ok Mrs. Tiny Tiney Weenie! Why wasn't I invited?
I LOVE SAVANNAH, been there so many times. You have to go to the River Walk, stop at the Nut House. Hope you have better luck seeing Paula than I have. I have met her sons at Lady and Sons. This last time we went to the Pirate House for dinner, then went on their ghost tour. That was a joke, but the kids liked it. You have to go on a trolley tour if you haven't done that before, great info about the history of Savannah. The kids went on a ghost tour, a huge joke and expensive. Oh, one more thing, take a ride out to Tybee Island, it's beautiful. Jimmy and the girls might want to climb the lighthouse and see the view from there.On the way out there you will pass Bubba's. Paula's brothers place. Ok, I'll stop, I could go on and on about Savannah.

I just made a cherry pie, it was so pretty, so yummy lookin' and with my washing machine going, my dishwasher on full blast and....well....blogging, I didn't hear my oven telling me it was ready..nearly burned it to pieces. Ya think Vanilla Bean Ice Creme will make it all better ?? Gotta take it to daughter's house tonight. booo hoo.....maybe I better stick in some Oreo's to go with that ice creme.....
