...Un-named patient flies into rage and destroys surgical center. Suspect is on the lam and has not yet been located. Upon investigation of the facility, detectives found Dr. Asshole, anesthesiologist, in a custodial closet, wrapped up in IV line and strapped to an IV pole, naked. Said physician was also found with surgical tape wrapped around his privates, which later had to be removed by an R.N. Consequently, Dr. Asshole now has a nice Brazilian look. Dr. W, who was to perform un-named patient's surgery was unable to be reached for questioning.
If anyone sees a rather large woman in a hospital gown anywhere in the greater Jacksonville area, please contact your local authorities. Do not approach this woman, as we have every reason to believe she is armed with various medical equipment and can be dangerous.

Dat does blow! I can't believe you dragged your hiney down there first thing in the morning, Jimmy took the day off work and then they go and cancel...AFTER putting the darn needle in your arm. The nerve. It's a good thing I'm too far away to inflict some additional pain on those two doctors. Oy!

Sorry to hear they cancelled your surgery, but this was freaking hilarious! I love the part about him having surgical tape wrapped around his privates and now sporting a brazilian, lol.
At least the sleep study is a very easy test. They just hook you up to wires and you sleep. Piece of cake.
Hope they get this all straightened out so you can do what needs to be done. I don't blame you for the surgery phobia though.

Justine I am so sorry this happened!!! Nothing like beign completely anxious, all psyched out and then getting cancelled!! I can feel your pain! Trust me! Hang in there girl~~~I know easier said than done! Hugs French;)
Well thats too bad not to be at the other end of having the surgery done and just getting better. I'm sure your doctor will get all of that sorted out and you'll be able to go through it just at a later date.
The good thing is that they discovered there was a problem. Might not have been such a good thing. Things happen for a reason...and I'm sure its not so that you'd be angry and anxious.
Treat yourself to something nice maybe that WILL make you feel better.
I thought your story about the aftermath was rather funny.....*lol*. I could just picture it all.
