I’m No Longer a Wordless Wednesday Virgin!

Yep, it’s my first time doing this, so go easy on me people.  You know I don’t do wordless, but I’ll try and keep it short!  When you’re through here, go visit Dixie and check out all the other WW posts!

Mikayla, at 7, Madison at 3, as flower girls in cousins David and Tajha’s wedding.

Here’s my sweet Madison this past December, 2008, at 7 years old.  Ain’t she cute?

I mean, come on.  How could you not love that face, right?

Picture 037

snaggletooth

But then this happened.  Her baby tooth fell out and this is what grew in.  A tooth in the exact shape of a candy corn!  Now aptly called her “snaggletooth”.

Picture 011Boy, these macro shots really mess up the appearance of a face, don’t they?

So anyway, the other front tooth finally fell out and now, alongside her snaggletooth, she’s got a humongous adult tooth coming in.  Perfectly square.  I do believe there’s some cosmetic dentistry in her future, don’t you?

That was only 190 words.  Not too bad, right?

Pssst! If you love me, you might love my sister more. Go visit her at Jill's Believe it or Not, and tell her I sent you!

  18. Ahh, Justine, your girls are so cute. Teeth seem to do what they want to, don't they? My granddaughter just had 2 permanent teeth pulled and 2 more to go, for her braces. They were coming in way too high.

  24. Whoa, that's a lot of words for a "wordless" post! Poor little Madison and her snaggletooth. Cosmetic dentistry is a beautiful thing. Katie wouldn't have her million dollar smile without some gum surgery and braces!

  25. Very cool pictures of such darling girls!

  26. Oh boy, I remember those awkward tooth years. When the teeth first come in, they're gigantor teeth and it takes YEARS for their face to catch up with them. I felt so sorry for my kids during that time.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Welcome to the club! You kept it pretty short! lol I usually have to say a few words also. Cute pictures. My middle is becoming snaggle tooth also. You lot to love it! She is a cutie!

  28. Braces are in my oldest's future... sigh. I'd better start saving my pennies now!

  29. I knew you wouldn't be able to do it!

But the photos are cute and the commentary as entertaining as usual.

  31. OMG! You're such a cheater! Yes, it was LESS WORDS but I don't think that's what it meant.

I think both your girls are beautiful. Hopefully those teeth will improve somehow. lol.

Hey you used my Snaggletooth on her??? lol.

  32. No corn on the cob for snaggletooth. You'll have to give her ice cream instead. Can I have some too?

    Jill sent me. 8-D

  40. I think they decided to ban you from WORDLESS Wednesday for life!!! And your girls are so darn cute. But she is going to get familiar with a dentist I have a feeling. Weird how those teeth are so different. I guess it will give her sister something to mock her about when they grow up and get blogs!!!

  41. I can't believe I missed the "What is it" post. I'm soo good at it. I guess I'm an unfair advantage with my skilled sleuthing talents.

Your girls are soo beautiful in their formals.
Summer corn on the cob may be a bit tricky for those toothless grins this BBQ season. Hopefully they'll sprout some new nubs by then.

Yup, I forgot to change the date on my post. I was a bit frantic cause I was receiving visitors on Thursday (for foodie Friday)who mistook the old for the new.

I saw your new baby on your picture profile. Does that mean she's home?

    Sweet wishes,
    Sara

  43. Aw...poor snaggle tooth! But she's a kid, it'll be cute for awhile and then some dentistry can fix it right up!
